Here is our organic kitchen garden. It’s a kind of botanical garden.
It’s fertilized only by the sacred donkeys dung.
We grow our first fruits that Paola converts into delights: vegetables in season have got another taste, of course!
With vegetables we start with asparagus in the early Spring time and we finsh with zucche (pumpkin) and an old local type of red corn for polenta in Autumn time.
All around the garden there is an orchard with various kinds of trees: apple-trees,
plums, walnuts, hazels, pomegranates, currants, raspberries, and so on.
