It was 1988, when Paola and me, aided by many, many friends and by our trusty dog Stenka, made the big step: buy an old house to live in the countryside !
We were twenty-three years old with a great desire to create a beautiful place to live and grow up our children, a beautiful place to share with friends and with anyone who wished.
We lived inside it from the beginning: no hot water (often without running water at all), no electrical system, some rooms without windows and a room with a window walled with cow dung, always without television, but with many, many friends some early pioneer guests, who must carry the pot of hot water from the kitchen to the one bathroom of the house.

The Ambaradan / The Mumbo Jumbo on restructuring started in November 1990.

Without equipment and without many skills, money does not talk about it, we have inadvertently created a kind of collective experience: everyone wanted to participate, with passion, commitment, smile and sweat. And it did.
Friends call friends and the chain grew longer: by that time this house is always a sea port.
The main ingredient? The sheer recklessness to be twenty years old!
